Default Shout out to L & J Auto Brokers, Redwood City, CA

We bought a new RX450h in February and a Certified 2013 GS350 F Sport a few months later.
They gave me a fair price on the GS, $22,300; it had 57K miles.

Anyways, the Certified status includes, among other things, 4 services.
I believe they are supposed to be minor services...
Well they just did the 60K service for free:
Oil, brake fluid flush, spark plugs, cabin AF and more.
Bazillion point check.
Plus they wash and detail the car.
Our loaner was a 2019 ES300h with 2,000 miles.

They un-rashed the wheels and did brakes when I got the car...
Just so you know, Silicon Valley has numerous Lexus dealers.
I believe this is their #1 market in the world.

Anyways, I could not be happier with this car and L & J Auto Brokers's support.
FYI, new cars bought there have a lifetime drivetrain warranty for the original owner.

The work on this car is so dang complete; they took all the fun outta being a wrench...
I will service the transmission soon. All good.

Thats great that they honored such a "major" service for free. Lots of dealers want $600 - $900 just for the 60k service.

All CPOs receive complimentary maintenance for the next 4 factory recommended services. So the OP will receive the 60, 65, 70 and 75K factory recommended services without cost. The 60K is a major service, oil, filters, brake fluid, rear diff oil.... that's a good value. Check your manual for service details.

The service department originally told me the 60K service was not covered; just minor services.
My salesman, Mr. David Jenner, gave me an email approval.
The service department took care of the rest.

Yes, it was a heck of a value. 2 years bumper-to-bumper warranty ain't bad either.
All for a clean car at a better price than I was seeing elsewhere.

That's all I can tell you.
They also gave me a 2nd key fob.

Things like this cause positive word of mouth about Lexus to make it worth your time to consider a CPO car. It does drive sales back to the mothership dealers (eg lexus ones) versus the growing mega volume used dealers or non-lexus dealers. No smoke and mirrors of 'customer retention' or competing brand discounts. If lexus puts out a solid product and is behind it, it does mean something for long term loyalty and ownership.

This isn't always the case as dealerships will try their best to say things like "its really just an oil/filter change and multi point inspection" that they are willing to provide...shying away from providing those major services (30k, 60k, 90k,)...although its great that the OP was able to get them to honor a major service interval.

Here is the language that Lexus uses for the services that they provide with a CPO car - notice that they don't mention things like brake fluid, spark plugs, cabin filter, etc:

From the day you purchase or lease your L/Certified Vehicle, you receive Complimentary Maintenance covering the next four factory-recommended services for two years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first.*Factory-recommended service intervals occur every 5,000 miles or every six months, whichever comes first, and consist of oil and filter changes, multi-point inspections, inspection and/or rotation of tires, and road tests.

None of my local dealerships (including the one where i purchased) were willing to provide a major service when i had my CPO IS350 or my 4GS. This dealership is doing the right thing - because sales can always sell you the car, but service sells you the next one!

New gets the first two, CPO gets the 4 following the purchase date.

The devil is always in the details... and you are right... service keeps you coming back.

Lexus of Carlsbad did my 30K service on my CPO 2014 F-sport when I brought it in. Covered everything. Lexus service is the reason why i'm on my 3rd Gs

The other thing to remember when you are considering a used Lexus:
Lease returns are 1st offered to all Lexus dealerships across the nation.
Then they are offered to auctions.

I am very pleased with L & J Auto Brokers. And remember, we have numerous dealerships in the Bay Area.

nice, now i just wish NY dealers were as nice.

these bastards don't even want to answer much questions over the phone, they always want me to come in. And prices are astronomically high in NY.

every dealer i serviced cars from, be it benz, infiniti, acura, bmw, they all way too darn busy. they just want you out of their faces most of the time.

benz was the sole exception, but those guys charge you an arm and a leg for their services, so courteous clerk/advisor is the minimum i'd accept.

now as far as lexus dealers around NYC, lexus of queens, lexus of brooklyn and lexus of manhattan all 3 are getting way too much business. they won't even let me offer a price lol. i'm planning to drive 70 miles out for a lexus dealer in the suburbs, the ones n ear me (and i have 4 lexus dealers within 15 mins of me) all suck.

My car was brought to Lexus of Manhattan (pre-delivery) and then to it's first location at Lexus of Brooklyn. Trust me, go to Lexus of Route 10 in NJ, you won't regret it. They are the best in NJ and I go there for service all the time. The rest of the dealerships I've been to are pretty crumby and shady.

Agree with this sentiment...Lexus dealerships in NJ are definitely getting it right. I have had great experiences with Lexus of Bridgewater and Prestige Lexus both in NJ.
